For artist Jos Mahon, walking and painting in wild and remote places is as natural as breathing and in this painted journal she takes us with her on her great adventure.
With her we experience the rise and fall of the path, the constant movement of the sea, the misty mornings and stunning sunsets. We watch the country change as she walks north and feel her rising excitement at the approach of the wildness and drama of the Highlands. We experience remote camping places beside rushing rivers and among towering mountains and feel her elation as finally, the end is in sight – the sea, the sea!
